I picked up a few different creams at my local Indian grocery store. The Yardley Gold seemed to be the most intriguing so I wanted to try this one first. As far as the scent goes, it’s very light. The scent seems floral to me, but again it’s not strong at all, so it’s pleasant. I put a dab in my bowl and it burst into thick lather in not time. For $3 it performed as good as $20 creams, providing plenty of cushion and glide for my Edwin Jagger(EJ). It’s been a while since I’ve used my EJ razor, but it reminded me why it’s so highly recommended. The EJ is often suggested to people starting out in wet shaving, but by no means is it just for beginners. The EJ also comes in an array of styles with options for handles and finishes to appeal to different tastes. If you have any grocery stores catering to different ethnicity’s I suggest checking them out, not only for some interesting food finds, but you may come across shaving bargains like this one.
